It’s On!

Hello!

I’m Kate.I’m an aspiring fashion…..skill in the works.I’m a flâneur.

You probably wonder what  a flâneur is.I would definitely do if I were in your position.

But every question has an answer….

So……..

The term flâneur (English pronunciation: /flä-ˈnər/) comes from the French masculine noun flâneur—which has the basic meanings of “stroller”, “lounger”, “saunterer”, “loafer”—which itself comes from the French verb flâner, which means “to stroll”. Charles Baudelaire developed a derived meaning of flâneur—that of “a person who walks the city in order to experience it”.

Generally, the Wikipedia explanation of the term is  more than enough to give you a basic idea of what a flâneur is.

And does.

But ,man, I’m a girl.

Hello??We need a new term about the girl who strolls as well and since there is none I’ll keep using the F word.

I mean flâneur.

Then another question rises.

What is this blog about?

Well,I gues we’ll both have to wait till the next post to find out.

(Ha! Gotcha!)

Till then…..

……it was nice meeting you.
